Another Post!

Hi.

I thought of another few things to yap about.

First, I'm very excited to announce that my wife and I will finally be witnessing the musical event known as WICKED. It's coming to Salt Lake City, and after almost 3 hours of repeatedly dialing a phone number, my wife got through and scored us some early-release tickets. Can't wait. Ironically, the word WICKED is very important in my upcoming book, THE MAZE RUNNER. No connection.

Second, I put a new Followers thing on the right side of the blog. Check it out and join!

Third, I found the first place you can preorder Book 2. Click on the cover picture to the right and it'll take you there.

Fourth, I've been working so hard this week on my rewrites! And I've still got a long way to go. But I'm amazed at how much better Krista is making this book. I almost feel guilty, like her name should be on the cover with me.

Fifth, I was very excited to wake up this morning to this:

That can only mean that skiiing is not far behind. Have a great day!

Oh snow! Snow is awesome. Isn't it amazing that no two flakes are alike? Blows my mind. I wish it would snow here!

Wicked! I tried and tried and by the time I could get through there was nothing available!

Did I mention that I loved the cover of Maze Runner!

(Cheryl, the pre-sale was a 1 day sale on Halloween put on by Zion's Bank. The rest of the tickets go on sale December 12, I think.)

Wicked is AMAZING!! I've seen it 6 times now. And I just saw Idina Menzel (who was the original Elphabe in Wicked) last night in concert. I can't wait to hear what you have to say about it.

Good luck on the rewrites!

I would preorder except...my very own copy just arrived in the mail yesterday! Woot!

And it's dumping down snow even as I type.

Alas, the only entertainment here is a local community theatre production of Annie Get Your Gun. Living in Hicksville is soooo much fun.

Thanks for the ARC!

So *is* her name going to be on the book or are you hogging all the glory?

Snowbird opens today.
enjoy.

I have absolutely no desire to see Wicked after reading the book, which I loathed. However, I'm told that the show isn't like the book at all, which is probably a good thing. Philosophy applied through sex and violence to the Wizard of Oz just doesn't work.

Woo, that's so cool you get to see Wicked. I didn't even know it was coming here--goes to show how much I'm stayin' on top of things around here!

Congrats on the rewrites!

Have so much fun going to see Wicked! But that teaser about the Maze Runner is going to make me crazy! I can't wait to get your new book!

Thank you so much for the kind words on my blog. You're so awesome. Not only do you help aspiring authors but you're such a "real" person. You earned my admiration with your books but you earned my respect because of your personality.

A fellow writer & devoted fan forever,

I love snow. I want to see snow. I have never heard of this Wicked. I'm going to do an internet search. :)

We had our first real snowfall today. It didn't amount to anything, but I'm sick & tired of winter already.

It's going to be a LONG couple of months! lol

My 13 year old daughter is in love with the score of Wicked. I wonder if it's a show to take someone that young to??

On the pic: It's beginning to look a lot like...

...Thanksgiving!

cool! I love snow! I wish it was snowing that hard here. I live in Fountain Green, Utah and it has only snowed twice. (it was only powder) :(

Oh well! I guess I'll have to wait.

My parents saw "Wicked" and they said they loved it. They saw it in LA and had loads of fun. They bought the soundtrack, and I fell in love with it. It is usually all I listen to now.

James, you are an amazing author. I can't wait for your books!!!!!!!
