The 13th Reality Website is Up!

Well, it still might have some kinks, but it looks pretty awesome! I especially love the journal look and that you get a preview of some of the inside illustrations. A hearty thank you to Patrick Muir and all the people at Shadow Mountain who made this site possible. You guys are amazing.

It's a really pretty site. I like the illustrations. You've got some good starting content on there.

Unfortunately, I don't like the navigation. Anytime I have to go back to the main page to go on to anything else, I don't like it. Maybe its just because I'm lazy and fewer clicks the better. (As proof of my laziness, instead of waiting the couple seconds for each page to load, I'll go and read someone's blog and then come back. It may be crazy, but I know I'm not the only person who does this...)

And while I'm nitpicking, I HATE fixed width sites that don't let me have my favorites along the side of my browser. The site was just barely too wide for me.

Just my two cents.

So really way kewl! Hope tried to submit a school visit request; we weren't sure whether it went through. I love the music.

You're coming to Atlanta on the 3rd and 4th of March!!! I can't wait! =)

Andy, great feedback. I especially agree that the menu should be available from every page if possible.

Luisa, funny enough, the music must have just been added. It wasn't there before I read your comment. Pretty cool!

Rachel, you better come see me!

Sis, your website for me is still awesome, girl!

Deer Park, Washington huh?

I met my husband in Newport, Washington...not far from Deer Park. I've been to Deer Park a few times. :) We lived in Spokane for a couple of years before we moved down here to Arizona.

My son, Conner, {age 10} and I {age not relevent} really look forward to this series with MUCH excitement! We will be checking often at your scheduled book signings in hopes you make it to the Phoenix/Mesa area soon. :) If you do will come see you.

Keep up the awesome work you do, Dashner!

Just wanted to offer my thanks for not punishing Tristi for allowing me the ARC copy you promised I could have. I also wanted to let you know that the book was REALLY great. I couldn't put it down. I really am telling everyone to go out and buy it. Very well done. You rock. There is one problem. I want to read the second book now! Any hints for the next book?

Thanks again.
Shari Bird (Karen Hoover's friend who brought her children to Barnes and Noble and made you sign the dinosaur book to rid my poor son's face of sadness due to the fact that the dino-book's author was not at the signing. You really do rock, ya know.)

Ajoy, I've never been to Washington, but my cousin is from Deer Park. She described it as woodsy and snowy, which is what I wanted. That was the extent of my research!

I'm definitely coming to Arizona as part of the tour. Check back on the website for further details.

Shari, you're awesome. I'm SO glad you liked the book. And it was quite the honor to sign a book about dinosaurs which I had not written. I felt so crazy and wild doing that. :-)

As for Book 2, I will only say this: It's weirder, crazier, and much more action packed. And Tick almost kills everyone more than once. If anyone is the hero in Book 2, it's Sofia. And Sato.

James Ole Bean, make sure you send me your flight info ASAP for your Atlanta tour. I reckon you'll want some shots of the your signings?

Way cool site, way cool book, way cool author -- man, is there anything about you that isn't cool?

Oh, yeah, your hatred for my favorite movie. That's not cool. But the rest -- way, way cool.
